The double room was really comfortable, had a lovely traditional vibe to it. It felt homey and perfect after a day out. The bed was cozy and made for a good night’s sleep. Just a bit on the small side, but honestly, that didn’t bother me much. Parking was easy, and it was in a cool spot for exploring. good experience!

The pub is ancient yet very charming and comfortable, situated just a short drive from Looe and Polperro. The owners are still working on the kitchen, so the dinner menu was a bit limited, but the breakfasts and homemade cakes were outstanding. Our room was cozy, although we wished for a slightly longer mattress since we are both tall. The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially when they assisted us with late check-in access.

The location was top-notch for exploring Looe, and the family-style dinner had generous portions that left us feeling well-fed. The staff were super friendly, making us feel right at home!
A cheeky downside was the out-of-date milk in the room and a bit of noise from the car park. The continental breakfast could use a boost. who doesn’t crave a full English in the morning?

Solo traveler bliss
Lovely rural inn with a comfortable room and pretty welcoming staff team. I had breakfast and Lisa, the waitress, was incredibly friendly always checking if I needed anything, such a warm welcome it was. The pub is just minutes from some stunning coastal views.
It wasn't cheap but still felt acceptable for what you get.

We enjoyed a delightful evening at the cozy restaurant on-site, where the seafood was fresh and flavorful. Despite some dampness in the hallways, our double room was welcoming, providing a relaxing retreat. Future guests should definitely check out the local dishes—they're a highlight!
